The High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG) develops advanced memory solutions that power next-generation Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and high-performance computing applications. As a Design Validation Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and validation of next-generation HBM products from design through qualification and high-volume manufacturing. This position provides the opportunity to work at the intersection of semiconductor design, silicon validation, hardware and software debugging, and data analysis while collaborating with multi-functional teams around the world. The level of responsibility will be aligned with a combination of education, experience, and demonstrated technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in JEDEC HBM specifications, internal architecture documentation, and HBM design schematics and layouts.
• Perform silicon validation and characterization of HBM products using laboratory equipment, circuit simulations, debugging techniques, and data analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Product Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and other multi-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze validation data, identify trends, and implement solutions that improve product performance, quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Apply AI-Assisted and AI-Enabled tools, including data analysis and debugging solutions, to improve validation efficiency, accelerate root-cause analysis, and support engineering decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with one or more of the following: schematic analysis, circuit simulation, data analysis, laboratory debugging, or pattern manipulation.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills through academic projects, internships, research, or professional experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team-based engineering organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework or experience in VLSI design, semiconductor processes, Python, and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
• Knowledge of memory architectures, semiconductor validation methodologies, or high-speed interface technologies.
• Experience Leveraging AI or Artificial Intelligence tools to support engineering analysis, automation, debugging, or productivity improvements.
• Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and strong written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for continuous learning and process improvement.
