About the Role

Join a team that plays a critical role in protecting the electric grid. As a Cybersecurity Intern at ATC, you’ll support our cybersecurity program and gain hands-on experience defending critical infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You’ll work with a team that safeguards ATC’s technology systems, helping ensure the reliable and secure operation of our electric transmission network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn how ATC identifies and responds to cyber threats through phishing and malware detection programs
  • Assist in applying cybersecurity best practices across systems and business activities
  • Gain exposure to cybersecurity tools and platforms including:

o SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) o Firewalls o Intrusion prevention systems o Malware analysis tools o Endpoint protection solutions o Vulnerability management systems

What You’ll Bring

  • You’re an associate’s or bachelor’s degree student in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related program
  • You’re curious, motivated, and ready to contribute to the protection of critical infrastructure
