Cependant, pour ce rôle en particulier, la maîtrise de l'anglais est une exigence professionnelle justifiée en raison des tâches techniques et spécialisées nécessitant l'utilisation de l'anglais afin de répondre aux besoins des clients tout en travaillant de manière intégrée avec des collègues du monde entier. La maîtrise de la communication orale et écrite en français est considérée comme un atout. Diplôme en génie électrique ou mécanique.
Capacité à effectuer des tâches nécessitant de rester debout, de marcher fréquemment, de soulever des charges et de travailler en hauteur, avec ou sans équipement d'assistance. Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec divers intervenants. Intérêt marqué pour l'apprentissage, le développement et l'acquisition de nouvelles compétences techniques. Flexibilité pour travailler en dehors des heures normales d'affaires, y compris les fins de semaine et/ou les jours fériés. High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems Minimum of 18 years of age. You are studying at/or have graduated from a technical college. However, for this specific role, proficiency in English is a bona fide occupational requirement due to technical and specialized tasks requiring the use of English to meet customer needs while working in an integrated fashion with colleagues around the world. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in French is considered an asset.
These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: The successful candidate currently has the ability to obtain Reliability Status screening from a duly authorized department or agency of the Government of Canada. Electrical or mechanical engineer diploma. Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance. Able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays. Perform basic monitoring and inspection of critical environment-related facility equipment, building, and grounds for unsafe or abnormal conditions and basic monitoring of the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety) within the data center. Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and to complete work order requests for maintenance work.
Safely assist in providing emergency monitoring and response to various abnormal conditions with supervision following emergency operating procedures (EOPs). Gather necessary information and participate in the creation of incident timelines/data, root-cause analyses, and/or action items following an abnormal condition as required. Perform various types of maintenance (e.g., planned, predictive, corrective) as assigned following methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Provide assistance by prepping materials and performing administrative tasks as instructed. Document tasks/issues found in maintenance and troubleshooting for follow up as needed and escalate as appropriate. Embody our culture and values.
