As an Operations Intern, you will be fundamental to ensuring excellence in serving our customers, working directly with essential processes that drive our Warehouse performance every day.

Amazon's Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ops Intern to learn about the management of daily inventory control, quality assurance, and capacity activities within our Fulfillment Center. Inventory control and quality assurance activities play a critical role in leading best Stow and Picking practices, and capacity management inside the Warehouse — thereby having a direct impact on Amazon's ability to serve customers on time and safely.

Interns at Amazon Mexico work 6 hours a day (30 hours/week) for 12 months (internship will be conducted between November 2026 and November 2027. Amazon adopts an in-person work model and all employees, including interns, must work on-site at our Fulfillment Center. As an intern, you will be matched to a mentor and embedded within the site Operations team.

In addition to contributing to an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with Amazonians for both personal and professional development, expand your network, and participate in activities with other interns throughout your internship. No matter the location of your internship, we give you the tools to own your project and learn in a real-world setting. Key job responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring of inventory levels
  • Perform quality assurance activities to uphold customer experience standards
  • Collaborate on process optimization and capacity management projects
  • Participate in meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the team in strategic operational tasks across Stow, Pick, and other warehouse processes
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and drive improvement opportunities

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or other related field with a graduation conferral date between December 2025 and December 2027
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, charts)
  • Available to complete a 12-month internship working 30 hours/week
  • Available to work 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, during business hours
  • Proficient in English (Verbal and Written)
  • Fluent in Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with data analysis or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, RCA, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Interest in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management
