Responsibilities

• You will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and assist with executing assigned projects.
• AutoZone is seeking a tech-savvy and motivated Information Technology Intern to join our team for the summer.
• In this role, you will work on exciting technology initiatives focused on software development and systems engineering, contribute to system enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable technology solutions.
• Your contributions will help power the technology that keeps AutoZone running efficiently.
• Throughout your internship, you will collaborate in teams and manage your own sprints, working closely with AutoZoner support teams.
• This hands-on experience will ensure your success and provide you with tangible results by the end of your internship.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university during the Summer 2027 internship program (June 7 - August 6, 2027). Students who graduate before June 7, 2027, are not eligible for the program.
• Must be able to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the internship. Relocation assistance is available for eligible non-local students. Non-local students are defined as those who do not have available family housing in the Memphis area and whose college or university is not located in Memphis.
• Applicants should apply to no more than two internship roles that best align with their interests, skills, and experience. If you are uncertain which department is the best fit, please use this general application.
• Applications close on Friday, December 4, 2026.

Majors We are Searching For:

• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Management of Information Systems (MIS)
• You should be educated in technical languages like Python, JavaScript, Java and C++ with experience in using SCM tools like Gitlab, GetHub and Jira in order to be successful.
